1. Introduction

This Refund & Return Policy explains the terms and conditions related to product returns, replacements, and refunds for purchases made through our website. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following policy.

2. Eligibility for Return & Refund

Customers may request a return or refund within 24 hours of delivery under the conditions mentioned below.

2.1 Damaged Product

If the product is delivered in a damaged condition due to transit or manufacturing defects.
Customers must provide clear photos and videos showing the product before and after unpacking to validate the claim.

2.2 Product Not as Described

If the delivered product does not match the description, images, specifications, or features displayed on our website.
However, if product photographs were shared with the customer before dispatch, the product will not be eligible for return or refund.

2.3 Wrong or Missing Item

If the customer receives an incorrect item or if any component/part is missing from the delivery.

Proof Required:
Clear photos and videos must be emailed to eastindiafurniture2025@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery.

3. Non-Eligible Cases for Return or Refund

Returns or refunds will not be accepted under the following scenarios:

3.1 Change of Mind

If the customer decides they no longer want the product after delivery, but the product matches the website description.

3.2 Product Received as Described

If the delivered product matches the product images, specifications, and details shown on the website.

3.3 Customer-Induced Damage

Damage caused after delivery due to misuse, mishandling, improper installation, lack of care, or normal wear and tear.

4. Return Verification Process

  1. The customer submits a return request with the required photos/videos.

  2. The quality team reviews the claim within one working week.

  3. If approved, return pickup or replacement will be arranged depending on the product type and delivery location.

  4. If the return is approved and the product is received back in the required condition, a refund will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

5. Replacement Policy

East India Furniture will provide a replacement unit of the same product wherever possible.
If the replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued once the returned item is received and inspected.

6. Warranty Terms

All furniture products come with a 5-year warranty covering:

  • Structural or manufacturing defects

  • Termite or borer issues (if applicable for the respective product)

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damages resulting from customer misuse or accidents

  • Water, chemical, or fire-related damage

  • Natural variations in wood grain, texture, or colour

  • Fabric, foam, or upholstery wear and tear

  • Improper installation by the customer or a third party

7. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.

  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not permitted.
